“I remember a stay in Portofino that remains etched in my olfactory memory,” Benaïm recalls. “My hotel overlooked a grove of magnolia trees in full bloom, cascading down a steep slope that led straight into the sea. Intrepid and enthralled, I leaned in to savor their fresh, floral scent. A marvel! That fleeting moment became a great source of inspiration when composing JUMPSUIT.”
With its intricate yet diaphanous facets, magnolia is a flower that is almost a perfume in itself. Benaïm draws out its full radiance, magnifying each nuance in turn: a burst of citrusy brightness, energized by the zesty, peppered essence of bergamot; rosy freshness; velvety peach tones; and a heady white floral trail enriched with the deliciously fruity absolute of jasmine grandiflorum. This luminous heart settles into a soft, sensual base of white musk and patchouli, grounding the fragrance with elegance and depth.
